I have helped create this forum for Mrs. Luthin to provide a venue for sharing your math related problems and to get quick resolution. I know that there are some challenges with getting these forums to be able to do good markup for things like 'raising things to a power' or showing subscript. I am actively looking to increase the quality of this interface, but until that time we will need to be creative.
Here are some recommendations:
- Upload a picture that displays complex problems.
- Link to an existing picture or page on the internet.
- Use the ^ character to raise to a power. For instance, x to the 2/3 power would be written as: x^(2/3)
- Square root of 10 would be written as SQROOT(10), Cube root of 10 + a would be written as CUBEROOT(10+a)
